Meet Carla

From a young age Carla has known that plant medicines hold within them special healing and soothing properties that help balance the body. She was raised by a family that grew medicinal plants and using them was a normal part of everyday life. As a teenager she was employed and mentored by a well-respected herbalist and pharmacist, Des Lardner and this knowledge grew further and evolved into a passion because she saw first-hand how the health of others improved greatly by his treatments.

Carla has a warm and caring nature and believes that the body has its own amazing innate abilities to heal, and that by giving space, a healthier environment, and addressing the root causes of health manifestations that anything is possible.

As a practitioner her approach is holistic and individualised, and she does this by blending traditional Naturopathic teachings with recent evidence-based scientific research. When collaborating with her clients to personalise a treatment plan that reflects their health goals, she uses plant medicines, nutrition, diet and lifestyle modifications, mineral therapy, iridology, nail and tongue analysis, and functional pathology where needed. Carla also believes that education and empowerment are key factors in helping individuals, and to achieve and maintain optimal health.

Carla welcomes all walks of life to her practice, and her areas of special interest include: Mind-body health.
