THRIVE Health Clinic use all reasonable means to protect the confidentiality of your personal information while in our possession or control. In order for us to provide you with the products and services, it is necessary that we share your information in the following ways:

  • with third parties whose services we use, including but not limited to web-hosts, client management systems (Simple Clinic), payment system providers (Stripe, Xero), online course providers (Teachable);

  • anyone you agree for me to correspond with while working with me in a professional capacity, including other practitioners, functional testing companies, product distribution companies who dispense prescribed remedies;

  • with third parties for the purpose of collecting and processing data such as Facebook or Google Analytics, who may store data outside of Australia;

  • if and when the need arises to prevent serious threat to health, safety, or life of yourself or the public;

  • with any emergency contacts or care providers in the event you cannot act on your own behalf due to serious illness

  • at times THRIVE Health Clinic may collaborate or partner with a third party to deliver a service, product, program or health and wellness information. Any partnership or collaboration requires the third party to sign an agreement that all personal information shared will remain private and confidential. As a client we will provide you with full disclosure when this occurs, and we may ask you to sign an agreement for your private and confidential information to be shared if join one of our programs, courses or memberships.

SECURITY

THRIVE Health Clinic takes great care to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.

We manage risks to your personal information by:

  • Ensuring that only we have access to personal and sensitive information

  • Storing any hard copy files in secure locations

  • Storing digital files within password protected storage on hard disk and / or cloud storage. Please be aware we do use cloud storage via the use of software such as Simple Clinic and Dropbox. NOTIFICATION OF BREACH

We take privacy and confidentiality seriously at THRIVE Health Clinic. If we believe a breach of your personal information has occurred that may result in harm or loss to you, we will immediately assess the situation and take appropriate action to resolve the issue. 


If we believe you are still at risk, we will notify you directly of the breach (or publicise a notification of the breach on our website), and we will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).


COMPLAINTS ABOUT BREACH OF PRIVACY

THRIVE Health Clinic takes all precaution and care to provide you with a safe and caring health service. We take complaints and concerns regarding privacy seriously at THRIVE Health Clinic. If a breach of this Privacy Policy occurs, if you have any issues or concerns, or if you wish to request any changes to your personal information, please put your concerns in writing and email us at ebony@thrivehealthclinic.com.au. We will attempt to contact you immediate, and come to a resolution that both parties are happy with, within 30 days. 


After 30 days, if you are not satisfied with our response, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). Generally, the OAIC will require you to give them time to respond before they will investigate. We will endeavour to update or make your information available to you, unless we are obliged to a confidentiality agreement or some other restriction on granting access to the information which permits us to refuse you access under the Privacy Act.
